Here at Hunters Meet we offer you many different options on what you'd like to have for your wedding breakfast. Our head chef has been with us since the day we opened and works well with the team to ensure your food options are exactly what you dream of for your big day. For your evening reception our buffet is a show stopper with over 30 different options for you and your guests to enjoy.

Being Family run you, we provide a very personal service, we pride ourselves on the high standards we deliver, We have a number of loyal long serving staff who are all on hand to assist you with anything no matter how small. You will be looked after by our dedicated wedding team with over 60 years experience between them, so you really will be in good hands.

The Hunters Meet is a family run Hotel, Restaurant, Spa and Wedding Venue set in the picturesque village of Hatfield Heath. Brendan and Lesley have been the proud owners of The Hunters Meet since September 1990 and have worked very hard to make Hunters Meet the ideal wedding venue. We are fully licenced for weddings and partnerships, with a choice of ceremony locations, beautiful scenery, secret gardens and exquisite attention to detail.

What makes us different
The personal touches, being family run you really notice the difference, all of our wedding team have worked with us for many years. For your initial enquiry right through to your special day, we will be on hand and able to assist you with everything no matter how big or small.

No Hidden Extras, with us there really are no hidden extras. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. VAT is included in all our packages. There is no minimum spend on the bar and you will not be caught out with ant hidden room hire charges.

Versatile
We are very versatile, any of our packages can be adapted. You
design your own menus and you are in control of everything
on the day. Whether you are looking for a traditional English Wedding, a lively non-traditional party, or something in the
middle, we are able to adjust any thing to suit you.

Exclusivity
We really do guarantee you exclusive use.
We will ensure only yourselves and your guests are here on the day.We would never book another function on the same day.

Quality (and quantity)
No Expense is spared in regards to the services we provide
you. Our chefs will source the very best local ingredients and all of our reception drink packages consist of name brands. Our Evening buffet is a Show Stopper!
Unlike other venues where only a percentage of guests are
catered for, we cater for 100% of your guests, with at least 20 different items on the evening buffet.
Our staff also circulate around your guests with hot nibbles,
ensuring all of your guests are very well looked after.

Friendly & Accommodating
Between our wedding team we cover seven days and seven nights a week, so you will always be able to speak to someone.You can also pop in and see us, no appointment is necessary.You are always welcome to pop in have a cup of tea with us! We can answer any questions or offer advise on anything.

We really do care about our customers and we want your day
to go without a hitch! Our loyal team working on your day
will act as master of ceremonies for you, we will make sure all
of your guests are in the right place at the right time and we
will also seat all of your guests individually for your wedding
breakfast. In the evening we circulate around your guests with
trays of hot finger food and always make sure that we go the
extra mile to ensure all of your guests are happy.
