COVID-19

It's with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to postpone all of our Autumn 2020 County Wedding Events' shows.

Following the latest Government restrictions on consumer events, and after consultation with health and safety officers in various areas, we have concluded that it is not possible to go ahead. In any case we consider it would be completely irresponsible to hold such events when COVID-19 cases are steeply rising.

The Government says...

  • Business events (e.g. conferences, exhibitions, conventions, consumer/trade shows and other events and meetings). Business events will be permitted in numbers larger than 30 people as soon as it is safe to do so.
  • Business meetings and events of over 30 people should not currently take place in any venue.

Please visit www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/the-visitor-economy for more information.

We are hoping that these restrictions are short term, and are looking towards a successful Spring show season where we can run to full capacity for exhibitors and welcome back all of our registered couples who are eager to start attending our shows again.

Thank you in advance for your understanding at this time. For any further questions please contact Craig Ellis on 020 4506 2486.

Information for Exhibitors

The team at County Wedding Events and Signature Wedding Shows is excited to welcome you back to our exhibitions and have been working hard to ensure we provide a COVID-secure safe environment for everyone attending.

These are just some of the procedures when exhibiting at one of our events:

  • Exhibitors must wear a face mask or suitable face covering at all times.
Face masks will be available for purchase on arrival for those that turn up at one of our events without one. Should you have a valid reason for not being able to wear a mask you will be required to show your exemption.

  • Exhibitors must have sanitisation products for their personal and stand use.
Exhibitors should use hand sanitiser for personal use, and use by those visiting the stand and antibacterial wipes for cleaning iPads and albums after each use by clients. Also for wiping anything touched by visitors.

  • Social distancing will be managed in line with government advice during set-up, the open times of the event and breakdown.

  • A time slot will need to be chosen at the time of booking in order to set-up safely on the day

  • A one-way system will be operational throughout the venue to help everyone keep a safe distance. Limited numbers on-site and staggered entry facilitates this aspect.

  • Each exhibitor stand will have a zone marked in tape in front of their space.
Each exhibitor stand will have a zoned area marked out in tape for one couple/family to meet with suppliers – visitors must wait in the aisle and can only approach this zone when it has been vacated. Exhibitors will remain behind their display table to create a comfortable barrier for distancing.

  • Signage displaying key messages, in line with the latest government advice, will be in place throughout the venue.

  • The venue is deep-cleaned prior to our use.

  • Music must be kept to a minimum level.

  • Supporting Testing & Tracing (Track & Trace) personal details will be kept for 21 days.

  • Anyone with a high temperature or other symptoms related to COVID-19 must refrain from visiting.
If you have a cough, high temperature or other COVID symptoms, you must not attend. Similarly, you should not attend if you have had any of these symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms within the previous 14 days.

  • An experienced team of marshals will manage arrivals safely, taking into account the latest government guidance for our larger Signature Wedding Show events.

  • Each exhibitor stand will have a zone marked in tape in front of their space. Only one couple/family are permitted to occupy this space at any one time.

  • Signage displaying key messages, in line with the latest government advice, will be in place throughout the venue.

  • No promotional leaflets will be permitted in line with Government guidelines.

Information for Show Visitors

We're delighted to welcome you back to our County Wedding Events and Signature Wedding Shows and are confident that couples and guests will enjoy meeting with a wide range of local suppliers all on hand to help resume your wedding planning - all within a safe and secure environment.

These are just some of the COVID-secure measures:

  • Attendees will need to pre-book and pre-register to attend events, with no more than for visitors in one party.
Visitor pre-booking: To minimise queuing and contact during registration, visitors will be required to pre-register this enables us to restrict the capacity within the venue to safe numbers. Staff will click people in and out so we know how many are inside at any one time and will implement a 'one in one out' system should it be required.
Those who have not pre-booked will be required to wait in a separate queue at our larger Signature Wedding Show events.

  • Contactless registration systems will be introduced at venues to reduce waiting times

  • Paper handouts and gifts will no longer be offered, however do visit our websites to download the latest copies of our County Wedding Magazine titles for your local area, and enter the competition to Win Your Honeymoon and take advantage of all of our reader discounts and giveaways.

  • Supporting Testing & Tracing (Track & Trace): Personal details will be kept for 21-days

  • All venues will also have enhanced cleaning procedures, with hand washing and sanitising facilities at frequent intervals

  • Spaces between exhibition booths will be increased and aisles widened to achieve social distancing requirements

  • Events will be planned around one way systems for visitors

  • Visitors must wear a face mask or suitable face covering at all times
Face masks will be available for purchase on arrival for those that turn up at one of our events without one. Should you have a valid reason for not being able to wear a mask you will be required to show your exemption.

  • Anyone with a high temperature or other symptoms related to COVID-19 must refrain from visiting.

  • Personal hygiene is essential by brining your own hand sanitiser as well as using the ones provided, and regular washing your hands during the event.

  • Each exhibitor stand will have a zone marked in tape in front of their space. Only one couple/family are permitted to occupy this space at any one time.

  • Signage displaying key messages, in line with the latest government advice, will be in place throughout the venue
